As North America’s premier Celtic sports pub, Tilted Kilt® Pub & Eatery takes its tagline–”A Cold Beer Never Looked So Good®”–very seriously. The restaurant’s seductive twist on old-world food and drinks has transformed the original Las Vegas concept into 50+ franchises throughout the USA and Canada in just 10 years.

THE CHALLENGE

TJA was tasked with the development of a highly targeted consumer personas campaign based on findings from an in-depth study performed on behalf of Tilted Kilt®. We translated the report into a plan that efficiently utilized a relatively small national budget and drove foot traffic to each location.

THE SOLUTION

Based on the study, TJA found that people were willing to drive five miles or less to reach a Tilted Kilt® location. We then implemented targeted digital placements within that radius. To further pinpoint ads, we segmented each audience persona by age, gender, household income, behavioral traits and purchasing habits. We layered these characteristics with specific times of day to serve hyper-targeted search, display, social and remarketing ads. The six-month campaign doubled the industry-average click through rate and generated millions of well-placed impressions.
