Meet TJA’s Traffic Coordinator!

Even though he was born in Thousand Oaks, California, Bryan Zavala happily calls Arizona his home. As an Arizona State University graduate and TJA’s traffic coordinator (who recently celebrated his 2-year workiversary), Bryan is responsible for internal coordination, management and scheduling of projects to ensure the on-time delivery of assets to clients and media outlets. Before joining team TJA, Bryan dreamed of being a professional soccer player.

Here are some more fun facts about Bryan:

Were you a college athlete?

Yes. Before settling down at ASU, I played soccer at South Mountain CC then finished up at Aurora University in Aurora, IL. I came home to ASU once soccer was over, and finally settled on a major.

Favorite vacation you’ve been on?

St. Lucia was a great trip for our honeymoon. But a trip to Australia for a soccer tournament when I was 15 was an amazing experience of landscape and culture.

Favorite food?

Pfft, chicken wings. Can’t stop won’t stop.

Favorite way to spend your free time?

I am all over the place. I have too many hobbies and unfinished projects. But you can find me; working out, running, building custom lights, woodworking or finding my next “passion” to annoy my wife with.

Do you have any pets? How many? What kind? Names?

Cassie. She is a 13-year-old Boxer/Ridgeback that I’ve had since she was 4 weeks old.

Favorite holiday?

Christmas. Not for the presents, but for the season, the reason, and the time off!

Favorite local restaurant?

Does Filiberto’s count? I’m not hip to what’s hot, remember, I have a one-year-old. Otherwise, Delux Burger has been a long-lasting favorite.

Best thing about living in Arizona?

One season in Phoenix year-round, but all four seasons are less than an hour away.

According to Buzzfeed, Bryan’s taste in movies has determined he should make a career change and become a lawyer, and if he were to be a Disney princess, he’d be Mulan.
