THE COMPANY

A Downtown Scottsdale landmark since its original opening in 1956, Hotel Valley Ho defines “hip.” Classic mid-century design and modern conveniences make it a top destination for business and leisure travelers alike. Full-service VH Spa, award-winning restaurant ZuZu, and two pools all grace the Valley Ho property.

THE CHALLENGE

As consumers turn more and more to digital mediums for travel planning and research, Hotel Valley Ho has struggled to stay competitive among third party booking engines, which keep a percentage of each property’s booking.

THE SOLUTION

As a local business, it didn’t make financial sense to execute a national marketing campaign, so TJA focused our efforts on the Phoenix area. With the consumer in mind, we identified several key persona groups and their online behaviors and utilized direct digital placements, pay-per-click search advertising, display and remarketing ads and paid social media advertisements we were able to speak directly with our targeted audiences. The messaging and ad placements were specific to their browsing habits, allowing us to use our ad spend more efficiently, increase click-through rates, lower cost per click and increase conversion rates.
